Jackson's Revenge is an action/adventure western based on the activities surrounding the Jackson Ranch near the fictional town of Stockley, Arizona. Beginning with the unexplained arrest of rancher, Billy Parker. It becomes obvious the Town Marshal has a grudge against the family, but no one knows why. The story unfolds as attorney, Miles Carr, investigates the source which eventually leads back to the Civil War. Going back to 1861, James Randolph Jackson joins the war effort for his beloved Virginia and through a twist of fate becomes the beneficiary of a six thousand acre tract in Arizona Territory. Following his adventure and the family's move west, James becomes a pioneer in Arizona, ranching, until he suddenly dies in 1874. The cause or reason for his untimely death is not known until his grandson has problems with the Town Marshal in 1885. Follow their adventures and twists of fate as the story unfolds and the Parker family fulfill the dreams of their Patriarch, James Randolph Jackson.

I HAVE READ THIS BOOK AND FIND IT VERY GOOD.I LIKE TABITHA 580 THOUGHT IT WOULD MAKE A VERY GOOD MOVIE.MR KEVIN HOGGE IS A VERY GOOD WRITER.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. Can't wait to read moore of his products. His work is very thoroughly researched and is an awesome read.
This story took a while for me to understand what was going on but after it got going it was very interesting. It is sad, in that a good man is murdered, but neat how his murder is solved years later. It also shows how what we do good or bad affects our children and grand children. Good ending.
If you like westerns or not this book is a GREAT read. The author found a way with his descriptions of characters, life in the west, and with all the events that you find yourself questioning.. am I reading a book or watching a movie? I truly hope it becomes a movie. I would most definitely see it!!!!
Great read, it started a little slow for me but after I got into it I couldn't put it down. If you like western novels buy it.
